CASA of Caroline, The Caroline County YMCA/Mentoring Program and Caroline’s Agape Project are joining together to support Pinwheels For Prevention, a campaign to promote awareness of child abuse. Pinwheels are the national symbol for the great childhoods all kids deserve. While Caroline County residents are sheltering in place, we’re asking everyone to create their own pinwheel displays to help raise awareness of child abuse.

Please click on the link below for instructions on making your own pinwheels. We’ve put one display in the Denton Community Garden – send us a picture of YOURS so we can post it on our Facebook page and show the world one of the ways our community is coming together during the coronavirus pandemic. Submit all photos or inquiries to casacaroline100@gmail.com. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 displays and the BEST will be featured here on our website. So get your pinwheels out there blowing in the wind and let’s put an end to child abuse!
