Ways to Help

Not ready to be a CASA?  There are many ways you can help children in Caroline County Foster Care

Individual Contributions –You can make a difference in the lives of Caroline County children with a donation that will assist CASA of Caroline in providing advocates to children in need. Monetary donations help cover the costs of recruiting and training volunteer advocates.  All gifts are tax-deductible.

Advocate Honors -Do you know a CASA advocate that has volunteered their time to be a powerful voice in the life of a foster child?  Show appreciation by giving a gift in their honor.  Honoree will be notified of the special recognition but not the gift amount.

Host an Event From spaghetti dinners to basket bingo or a car wash; enjoy time spent with colleagues or friends organizing & holding an event to benefit CASA of Caroline.  Commit to contributing a portion of the proceeds to help foster care children have a better future.  CASA will advertise the event & submit a press release to the local paper for recognition of your efforts & your generous contribution.

Item Donations -Throughout the year, CASA of Caroline holds fundraisers that feature auctions and raffles.  Perhaps you own a business or have a particular skill and would like to donate items or gift certificates.  Please consider donating for one of our fundraisers.  We also welcome donations of office supplies to help defray our costs.

Planned Gifts

Bequests -Bequests are distributions from one’s estate through a will to a charitable organization such as CASA of Caroline.  Distributions to a charitable organization can be in the form of a cash gift, personal property, stocks or a percentage of an estate.

Life Insurance -Life Insurance gifts make it possible to arrange for a future gift to a charitable organization without financially impacting an individual during their lifetime.  CASA of Caroline can be named as a beneficiary or the owner of the policy.
